Not so well…
I’m sitting here listening to Mishima whilst it pours down with cold rain and I hold a coffee in my hands. Today was really not such a good one, as I decided to go out even though I am feeling not so well.
Since the past few days I have slowly been developing a nasty cough, and I have some evil headaches happening at the moment, followed with an ear ache that I think I quite possibly will have by tomorrow evening.
I think it is all due to the weather?
In my house the floors are tiled, which is not normal in this part of the world, but yah, we have tiles on the floor because in winter it is warm and in summer it is nice and cool.
In my house we have 2 fire places and usually we light both of them in winter because it heats up the tiles, yet I have contracted a nasty cold virus again.
New Zealand generally has rather cold winters, depending on what island you live on. I actually live in one of the most tropical parts of New Zealand, however, the winter months this year over here have been really bad and I think it is due to global warming. Much like how our summers are getting hotter and hotter and hotter. A lot of people assume that global warming is a “future” thing, but I actually think it is “going on right now” a lot more seriously than we think.
Well, if not where you are, for sure here. The weather is just so bleak and miserable, which is rather unusual for where we live.
Before I came to New Zealand we lived in a very dry part of the world, so I guess I can’t complain too much, but the cold is really getting to me.
My house is very warm because it’s new and it has been fully insulated and the carpets are 100% made from sheeps wool so everything is warm, but I seem to feel the cold a lot more than everyone else in my family.
I think it is because I don’t like a heavy meat intake, as I used to be a vegetarian, but now it’s like I have to eat meat or I just end up frail and sick, which I do not enjoy as I am already lightweight enough as it is.
Getting down to 55kg’s is not glamorous on me, the male. Thankfully due to the winter months I am nice and over weight, 60kg’s hahahahaha.
Apart from all this “weatherly” drama, I also have some other things to deal with, like work…
You should see how many bookings I have for the accommodations! I also have lots of orders to take! And a lot of other work to do, such as assignments for other things.
I am officially sick now.
Not that I should complain because there are so many worse off people out there in the world compared to my piddly 4 days of sickness drama, when really I just have a flu virus, nothing too serious, I hope.
Oh for gods sake, it has started to rain rain rain again meh!!! Oh yup, here we go, there’s sure some hail going to smash the roof of my house so I can’t even here the nice Japanese instrumental song I am listening to!

Yah, here it is… Hailing away.
I think I need to go and buy some slippers to go with my oldies cold outfit that will quite possibly keep me warm in these dreadful winter days while I hibernate like a bear in Alaska.
Sorry for not posting what I look like at the moment, I know you all like my photography but I look like a cross between a burned out fry pan and a cup full of headache pills. not so handsome today.
