Family get together . . .

I stayed at my sisters house the other night because we have a new member of the family who just arrived
And her name is Yildez, super super super fragile and very pretty features, but I didn’t take any photos… Since she was only a day old I thought I’d leave the photo shoot for later. (If I was a day old I don’t think I’d like flashing lights blinged in my face either.) I was hoping for the name Dakota
but… 2 Dakota’s in the family would be disturbing, man, I’m sick of hearing my name on it’s own, 2 Dakota’s would be a pair though
Regardless of my hopes and dreams
the baby will not be named Dakota, even after 8 months of eager nagging constantly 24/7 (Yah, even though Dakota is unisex too) … I think their argument is just that I’m way too annoying and I’d be an ultra bad influence… It would be like hitler 1 and hitler 2 hahaha… Just kidding… So I argued back and said I’m moving out in a year so she should be okay, and I promise not to treat her like my clone, the female version. *sigh* and it still didn’t work. Here are some of the names that my sister was thinking of:
Dakota Sêkoya(Indian special tree), MaiOha(I can’t stand this name), Hinerangi(My grandma’s name), Merekaimanu(My great grandmothers name), Coco(I voted that one), Shalimar(my sisters name), Pechaiida(Other great grandmothers name), Yildez(Other great grandmothers name), Shakti, Ramona, Pajisha, Kowhai . . .
Anyway, I’m just going to have to get over it. It will never be named Dakota, so I’m just going to put that at the back of my head now and stop arguing, it’s no use
*sigh*
Anyway, we had dinner together outside on my sisters stoned patio.

- Burned satay chicken wings
I know, here cooking chicken like that is really unconventional, in Australia and New Zealand everyone likes to use BBQ’s but my family go for the ethnic way of cooking meat hahaha… Primitive looking I know, but there is actually a lot more flavor! Love the smoked taste, and… It’s less fat because all of the fats etc drip away from your food.

With that we had some fresh Greek salad… Nothing too big, just a light meal because the weather for the past week has been like a fuel fired oven!
We ended up staying the night because it was too late to drive home, and then we left in the early hours of the morning…

- Zai running away from me
He’s so lucky I didn’t catch him! As cute as he looks, he bit my finger really really really hard like a very badly trained pet dog… My finger looked like it had just been orally stamped by the fangs of a mini sized Chihuahua. ![]()

“Innocent” evil -_-”, That’s called the “hahahaha pose” -_-

When we left I went shopping for a few hours at the Garden Place plaza area… and I got this store shot because it’s one of my friends favorite stores… Yeah, she’s about 32 and she doesn’t even live in New Zealand anymore, but I thought I’d get a shot for her, just for the sake of memorabilia…

Look… latest sales! ha ha… Everyone was staring at me, a full grown guy photographing a female clothing store… if only they actually knew why I was photographing the store window. I’ve been inside a few times my self, not that actual one but one in Auckland city… and it was a really scary experience. All I could hear was this disgusting Christina Aguilera music and the whole building smelt like clothing colors, wrinkle dye, hair dye and perfume. And then when I left I had to help my friend carry all of the bags out, everyone in the street was staring at me so strangely. I’M INNOCENT!!! Should have seen the look on their faces, it was really embarrassing.

Forgot to show you… This is my brand new Suzuki.
Ciao~
